Cody Monday truly loved life and appreciated everyday he had on this earth. He loved to fix old cars and trucks and work at his job in the maintenance department. He once said that people take for granted the ability to go to work and school and that cancer had changed his perspective on life. In August 2015, shortly after graduating from high school, Cody was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer called Grey Zone Lymphoma. He immediately started an intense regiment of chemotherapy which did not work. Cody then started radiation and while some progress was made; the cancerous tumor remained in his chest cavity pressing on his left lung. After several more radiation trials and a stem cell transplant, Cody passed away from cancer on December 26, 2017. He will always be remembered for his beautiful smile, infectious laugh and his love of family and God.
