This August Tattoo Tom returns to Mount St. Helens to run his 4th attempt at what has been called the most challenging endurance race in North America, the Bigfoot 200.
This time he’s not going alone though.
Joining him for all 206.5 miles are Loren Jewell, childhood cancer survivor and pacing them both, in the latter miles, pediatric oncology nurse Katie Healy who cared for both Loren and Tom’s daughter Shayla during their treatments. Also joining their pacing crew are Lynda Poole mother of Charlie Poole who was Tom’s friend and was taken from this world by childhood brain cancer in the summer of 2018. Experienced ultrarunner and reporter Dani Seiss round out this dream team they have affectionally dubbed, "The Perfect Storm."
Each mile is dedicated to a child impacted by childhood cancer and we are raising funds in their honor.
With one feather no one can fly, but with Two Feathers you just might.
