Addison is 15 she was diagnosed with DMG 1/17/23. DMG is a diffused midline glioma, it is a rare and deadly childhood cancer. The tumor intertwines itself within the brain stem and is inoperable and incurable.
Since being diagnosed she has received 30 rounds of radiation and Avastin infusions to hopefully help keep her tumor from growing and prolong her life. The prognosis for DMG is 6-11 months. Despite everything Addison loves life and her friends, she is funny, outgoing and loves to sing and dance and most importantly she is a strong and positive girl and continues to inspire everyone around her everyday!
