Story

Peyton Daniel Belling was a typical 3-year-old boy who loved Thomas the Train, the color orange and his family. He always knew what he wanted and never waivered. I now think this is because he could sense his time here would be short. Peyton was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 3 and 3 months and he died when he was 3 and 5 months. He should be 11 now. There are so many “what ifs” that they all blend together like white noise. And they keep coming.
We miss him every day and started a non-profit in his honor to help other families faced with adversity. we have donated over $200,000 to the bereavement program at our local children’s hospital and have worked with them to develop and maintain a first of its kind grief app, among other things to support bereaved families.
Peyton didn’t allow many people into his close circle but I know he would have loved Tattoo Tom, and we are grateful that he is willing to do all the wonderful things he does for all these kids, despite how painful it must be. 🧡
