Jennifer Discua Hernandez “Jenny”

Jenny was diagnosed with Leukemia at 18 years-old. Jenny, was originally from Honduras and moved to the US in 2016. Jenny quickly learned English and became a friend to anyone who met her. Jenny pursued her dream of graduating High School and earned her Diploma all while treating for cancer. She had enrolled in NOVA and wanted to help others experiencing what she went through. Jenny was a light and inspired everyone around her. She enjoyed beauty. She loved to make others look and feel beautiful. She LOVED makeup. The eyeshadow, lipstick, fake lashes, all of it. Jenny loved children. She loved being around them, joking with them, taking care of them. Jenny relapsed after only being in remission for a short time. She died a few months later, right before her 21st birthday. She married the love of her life just moments before being intubated in the hospital. This world is darker and colder without her bright light and sweet heart.
