Story

We would be so honored if you carried our Bree with you again this year. She was technically diagnosed 2.5 months after her 18th birthday, but her symptoms and blood work all pointed to her having AML prior to that, they just didn't put it together at first.

Breanna Nicole Frye was born April 4,1995 with a very rare disorder called Emanuel Syndrome (only about 500 known cases world wide).  She was physically and mentally disabled.  She couldn't walk or communicate verbally, but this sweet little girl communicated with some hand gestures, the sparkle in her eyes, her adorable laugh and clapping hands with everyone that would join her.  She loved musicals, like the Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins.  She had to have multiple surgeries during her short life to correct her hips and a very painful spinal fusion.  Our lives were spent to protect this defenseless child, and then she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We spent 77 days during her battle at Walter Reed and she passed away on September 11, 2013.  She is dearly missed and it would be very touching for her to be honored as one of the beautiful angels who are sure to be by your side every step of the way. Thank you for sacrificing so much of yourself for our kids.  You are truly inspirational!
